Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all web development projects, big and small
- Oversee a team of web developers, designers, and content creators, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
- Work with clients to scope out project requirements and deliverables
- Create detailed project plans and timelines, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify risks and issues early on, and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track
- Ensure quality control at every stage of development, from concept to launch
- Manage budgets and invoicing for web development projects
- Stay up-to-date on latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate into projects where appropriate
- Write and maintain documentation for web development processes and standards
- Train and mentor junior web developers on best practices
- Handle escalations and resolve conflict among team members
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science, web development, or related field
- Proven experience leading and motivating a team of developers
- Solid understanding of various programming languages, including PHP, Java, .NET, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of multiple web development frameworks
- Expertise in developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites
Skills And Experience
- 10+ years professional experience in web development
- 5+ years management experience in web development
- Deep technical knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Business acumen, with the ability to align website development initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Continuous learning mindset, with a commitment to staying current with web development trends and technologies.
